Kalavrita – Souvardo – Lake Tsivlou

It’s one of the most famous routes for offroad friends.You start from Kalavryta towards the village Souvardo. 10km in asphalt road, we continue through the village towards the Upper potamia, we enter a dirt road. Be careful because there are many branches on our right which does not follow them. As we descend the mountain before the village Ano Potamia, turn right on the lake Tsivlou, the view is breathtaking.

Hiking – Climbing

The irresistible hidden landscapes of Kalavryta and the wider region, in combination with the wild beauty of the area will tempt you with a magical way to either in walking or climbing. Kalavryta have all kinds of roots, from easy climbs to pleasant and difficult climbing routes that will fascinate you.

With the proper equipment and in a good moon you can start your day with either the route Kalentzi – Prophet Elias – Evrymanthos either by the extremely beautiful route Alepochori – Katarraktis – Archangels Monastery. One of the great hiking trails, which is worth trying for its variety of natural wealth, is the canyon of the river Vouraikos, which is end in Kalavryta and passes through the village of Zachlorou.

Rafting – Kayak

If you prefer an alternative activity in Kalavryta, then you should seek either downhill with kayak or enjoy a rafting group membership that will fill you with energy and adventure. Experienced instructors will guide you safely to a unique experience, while both sports combine places of rare beauty with fun and speed.

The rivers of Ladon and Erymanthos are ideal for these activities, as they offered rapids but they are even for beginners. These rivers are hidden natural attractions that are unknown to those who do not doing these sports. For Erymanthos the nicest way you can take and it is worth is from Tripotama until Vidiaki’s position. Get away from the usual sports and definitely will not regret about the new moments that you will live.

Kalavrita Ski Center

The ski center of Kalavryta is situated on the north side of Helmos in the position Xerokambos only 15 km from Kalavryta.

It began operating in 1988 and helps a lot for the major growth of the area. Guests in Kalavryta are more than 100,000 every year and most of them are young and all levels of skiers. It is the closest ski center in Athens.

The landscapes of Helmos are magical and the view of the Corinthian gulf is unique.
